Responsibilities

• Operate gable-top carton filling and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and food safety requirements (GMP)
• Perform routine product sampling and seal integrity testing to ensure quality assurance
• Set up packaging coders and validate product codes according to specifications
• Conduct equipment change-overs, CIP/SIP, cleaning, and routine adjustments
• Complete production records and documentation accurately and neatly
• Identify and communicate any out-of-specification product conditions immediately
• Operate lift trucks safely and perform housekeeping within established guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food manufacturing (dairy experience preferred)
• Working understanding of food manufacturing standards including SQF, HACCP, and GMP
• Strong math and technical skills, including the ability to operate equipment touch panels
• Ability to obtain lift truck (Powered Industrial Truck) certification
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently and stand/walk for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced quality or food safety training and/or certifications
