Tools & Parts Attendant

Responsibilities

• Issue, inventory, and control special tools, test equipment, technical data, and consolidated tool kits (CTK).
• Administer the Support Section CTK Program, including marking, inspecting, and securing replacement tools.
• Manage the storage, issuance, and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with MSDS and regulatory guidelines.
• Order and route parts through SBSS and IMDS, including tagging components and moving parts within the work center.
• Maintain bench stock, technical order libraries, and supply forms.
• Perform maintenance on assigned non-powered aerospace ground equipment.
• Assist with aircraft ground handling and flight line foreign object debris (FOD) prevention walks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with tool room operations or hazardous material management.
• Working knowledge of common aircraft hand and special tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Valid civilian driver's license.
• Basic computer skills for data input and extraction.
• Ability to work day, night, or weekend shifts as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IMDS, SBSS, or FEDLOG interfaces.
• Experience with technical order and publication management.
• Forklift and 1½ ton stake bed truck license ratings.
