About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate precision machine tools including conventional and CNC equipment to construct or repair tooling, gages, jigs, and fixtures
- Perform complex machining operations and mathematical calculations based on sketches, assembly drawings, or verbal instructions
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all machined parts meet specified tolerances and shapes
Requirements
- Active DOE "Q" clearance or active DoD "Top Secret" clearance
- Completion of an 8,000-hour approved Apprenticeship/Trainee Program or 4 years of satisfactory tool and die experience
- High School Diploma and U.S. citizenship
