Requirements
High school diploma or GED, 4+ years experience in plastic injection molding repair, Experience with cosmetic automotive tooling, Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding, Ability to work 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday)
About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform injection mold tooling repairs and preventative maintenance
- Work independently as the internal tooling department for molding
- Repair and/or manufacture parts to conform to the latest mold prints and 3D data
- Execute technical tasks including basic heat treating, MIG/TIG welding, silver solder, and precision hand fitting
- Maintain all required records and logs
- Monitor and order low stock inventories
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4+ years of experience in plastic injection molding repair and maintenance
- Experience with plastic injection mold tooling for cosmetic automotive parts
- Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding
- Ability to work 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
