About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, insert changes, and repairs on injection molding tools
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and tool performance
- Identify tooling issues and report findings to the Tooling Lead
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement tooling solutions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Develop and update Tooling Process Instructions (TPIs) and related documentation
- Organize and manage tool room components, including spare parts and standard items
- Collaborate with production teams to provide tooling support and address operational needs
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a tooling or manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with injection mold maintenance and repairs
- Solid understanding of the injection molding process
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability to changing priorities and short deadlines
