Tooling Technician L4

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement of CNC processes
• Define optimal machining strategies using CAD/CAM to ensure efficiency and speed
• Prepare steel and copper materials for the machining process
• Analyze and prepare machining files provided by CAD
• Develop comprehensive milling programs
• Compare and calibrate machining tools
• Monitor the development and execution of all electrodes and steel parts
• Adhere to priorities established by the planning team
• Perform first-level maintenance as described in standard procedures

Requirements

• Secondary education in Tool Design and Manufacturing or Injection Tooling technology
• 8-10 years of professional experience in a related field
• Proficiency in PowerMill CAM programming
• Expertise in Fagor CNC programming language and machine operation
• Strong skills in tolerances analysis and dimensional accuracy
• Ability to perform part interpretation and develop machining strategies
