Tooling Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to production cells regarding machine improvements, specifically focusing on work holding and tooling
• Read and interpret part prints for dimensions, tolerances, and other product specifications required for machining
• Prepare tooling using SMED or related methodologies to ensure production availability
• Address customer complaints and implement necessary corrective actions
• Contribute to the development of tooling and fixtures for new products
• Support the training and development of other technicians as required

Requirements

• Technician degree in Electromechanical or Mechatronic fields
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a tooling technician or in a related role
• Extensive knowledge of cutting tools, cutting conditions, and clamping/fixtures
• Proficiency in CAD and G&T (Geometric and Tolerancing) knowledge
• Strong understanding of material properties and their implications in industrial manufacturing
