Tooling Manager

Responsibilities

• Identify tooling needs during the tender phase in collaboration with Product Industrialization and Costing teams
• Evaluate total tooling costs, including manufacturing, implementation, maintenance, and lifecycle expenses
• Analyze tooling requests during product industrialization to propose robust, safe, and cost-effective solutions
• Write functional tooling specifications and validate them with key stakeholders
• Manage tooling sourcing activities, including RFQ analyses and supplier selection
• Validate tooling design and manufactured tooling through structured reviews prior to industrial use
• Define and validate tooling operating procedures and organize training for manufacturing teams
• Support production through continuous improvement actions, productivity initiatives, and issue resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing engineering
• Proficiency in both Turkish and English
• At least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, or Plant Maintenance
• Strong technical background in Process & Manufacturing Engineering
• Practical experience with CAD and PLM tools, specifically CATIA
• Solid understanding of Process FMEA
• Experience in a railway or heavy industrial environment is preferred
