Tooling & Maintenance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform high-precision maintenance, repair, and replacement of tooling and dies to meet strict tolerance and quality standards
• Ensure tooling reliability and dimensional accuracy to uphold product quality in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Interpret technical blueprints and machining specifications to guide accurate tooling tasks
• Support major equipment rebuilds, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Coordinate maintenance activities and align work schedules with external vendors and internal teams
• Manage tooling inventory by tracking usage, wear, and replacement needs
• Conduct root cause analysis to reduce downtime and implement corrective or preventive actions

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical Qualification in Mechanics, Tool & Die, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to work a rotating swing shift schedule (4 days on/4 days off; rotates days to nights every four weeks)

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Necker and Front-End (FE) tooling
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Experience with precision machining and die maintenance
