Tooling Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day problem-solving support to production, development, and research operations
• Troubleshoot material, process, and equipment issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
• Lead or support continuous improvement (DMAIC), cost reduction, and new product introduction projects
• Train operators and trades personnel on new equipment and manufacturing processes
• Use statistical tools and Designed Experiments (DOE) for process improvement and quality assurance
• Support equipment installation, process certification, and documentation for new product launches
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations to protect operators and equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical experience
• Yellow Belt Training
• Demonstrated knowledge in a technical field
• Experience with project team membership
• Proven track record of delivering results

Preferred Qualifications

• Green Belt Certification
• Project Team Leadership experience
• Shift supervisory experience
• Previous summer internship or progressive experience within the engineering field
