About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, specify, and validate devices, jigs, and equipment for production and assembly of aeronautical segments (wings, empennage, fuselage, doors, etc.)
- Collaborate with Project, Production, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure technical, ergonomic, and safety requirements are met
- Prepare and update technical documentation including plans, drawings, technical instructions, and validation reports
- Participate in the industrialization process of new products, ensuring correct tooling definition from early design stages
- Monitor manufacturing, installation, and try-out of tooling to ensure functionality and robustness
- Implement continuous improvements to existing tooling to reduce costs and increase productivity
- Support non-conformity analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Work with external suppliers for tooling development and manufacturing
- Define tooling requirements and contribute to industrialization plans
- Execute technical evaluations and control of tooling from different suppliers
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, Mechatronics, Aeronautics, or similar
- Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in an Aeronautical OEM or Tier-1 supplier
- Solid knowledge of technical drawing, GD&T, and CAD tools
- Advanced proficiency in English
- Experience with Process Risk Analysis (preferred)
- Knowledge of SAP/ERP (preferred)
- Proficiency in Catia, Enovia VPM, or Delmia (preferred)
