About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze needs and draft technical specifications
- Design tooling including functionality, architecture, and organization
- Manage integration, validation, and deployment phases
- Act as an operational interface with clients
- Perform mechanical studies and ensure solution compliance
- Collaborate with project teams and monitor realizations
- Support team skill development through knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in tooling design or demanding industrial environments
- Proficiency in CATIA V5
- Expertise in mechanical design, dimensioning, and RDM (Strength of Materials)
- Mastery of functional dimensioning (ISO GPS)
- Ability to produce and interpret technical drawings, CAD, and processes
- Proficiency in technical writing and English for international environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of 3DEXPERIENCE or SolidWorks
- Experience with calculation software
