Tooling and Facility Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum uptime of 3D printers, compressors, and post-processing systems through smart maintenance routines and preventive upkeep
• Perform rapid troubleshooting during equipment failures
• Manage entire infrastructure and coordinate external service providers and emergency planning
• Manage the complete lifecycle of production tools, from strategic procurement to calibration and decommissioning
• Design efficient workflows and layouts to optimize floor space usage
• Ensure compliance with German occupational, safety, and environmental standards
• Plan annual budgets for facility and tools and make data-driven investment decisions

Requirements

• Technical training or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Facility Management, or Maintenance
• Experience in maintenance planning, calibration routines, and modern production management
• Strong knowledge of German occupational safety regulations and regulatory requirements
• Understanding of energy and resource efficiency in buildings
• Decisive action in critical situations and strong communication skills
• Fluency in German (English is a plus)
