Toolcrib Attendant

Responsibilities

• Issue tools and manufacturing prints to personnel and maintain toolcrib storage
• Organize and label tools and machine repair parts using barcodes and correct bin placement
• Maintain a neat and orderly crib environment and adhere to cleaning schedules
• Manage purchasing requisitions for manufacturing items and verify received quantities
• Perform cycle counts of tooling and maintain accurate inventory levels
• Calculate tooling averages for operators and manage tooling change requests
• Scan completed manufacturing prints into the system and issue prints for production orders

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Strong organizational abilities and ability to work well with others
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Accurate keyboarding skills (45 WPM)
• Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO14001 requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of gaging methods
• Ability to read blueprints
• Experience working with toolroom equipment
