Tool Technician

Responsibilities

• Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment
• Use technology (laptops, tablets, mobile phones) to create, assign, and monitor work orders and diagnose issues
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on rental and customer equipment including pneumatic tools, material lifts, chain hoists, core drills, welders, pipe threaders, and small engines
• Maintain complete and timely electronic documentation of work performed
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
• Participate in year-round OEM training

Requirements

• Own tools applicable to the position
• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and power tools, schematics, and diagrams
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active applicable state class driver's license
• Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Pass a 10-panel drug screen (safety-sensitive position)

• Construction knowledge and background
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements
