Tool Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on rental and customer equipment and tools, including pneumatic tools, material lifts, chain hoists, core drills, welders, pipe threaders, and small engines
• Use technology such as laptops, tablets, and mobile phones to create, assign, and monitor work orders and track service intervals
• Diagnose issues by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models to determine root cause and corrective action
• Maintain complete and timely electronic documentation of work performed
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
• Follow safe job practices and OSHA guidelines

Requirements

• Own tools applicable to the position
• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and power tools, schematics, and diagrams
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active applicable state class driver's license
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Pass a background check and 10-panel drug screen
