Tool Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on rental and customer equipment including pneumatic tools, material lifts, chain hoists, core drills, welders, pipe threaders, and small engines
• Use technology such as laptops, tablets, and mobile phones to create, assign, and monitor work orders
• Track machine service intervals and order parts
• Diagnose equipment issues using real-time data
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation of all work performed
• Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment
• Assist with the pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts

Requirements

• Must own tools applicable to the position
• Mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of hand and power tools, schematics, and diagrams
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Active state driver's license
• Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA requirements
• Construction industry background and knowledge
