Tool Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on rental and customer equipment including pneumatic tools, material lifts, chain hoists, core drills, welders, and small engines
• Use technology such as laptops, tablets, and mobile devices to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, and order parts
• Diagnose equipment issues and determine root cause and corrective action using real-time data
• Maintain complete and timely electronic documentation of work performed
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
• Practice safe job practices and adhere to OSHA requirements

Requirements

• Own tools applicable to the position
• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and power tools, schematics, and diagrams
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active applicable state driver's license
• Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely and lift up to 50 pounds
• Pass a 10-panel drug screen (safety-sensitive position)
