About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain the tool crib by receiving, storing, and issuing tools and chemicals used for production
- Monitor equipment use and perform visual inspections for defects, wear, and tear
- Coordinate tool maintenance and support calibration activities under QA guidance
- Manage inventory records and perform goods receipts and inventory adjustments
- Create SAP master data and purchase requests to support procurement functions
- Coordinate with local suppliers regarding material availability and order dates
- Perform shop floor tasks including tool clean-up and daily consumable kitting
Requirements
- Experience in logistics, tool management, or inventory management within a manufacturing environment
- General knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and cutting tools relevant to the aviation industry
- Understanding of shop safety regulations, including OSHA and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention
- Proficiency in data collection programs such as SAP and Microsoft Excel
- High School Diploma or GED
