Tool Shop Attendant

Responsibilities

• Maintain the tool crib by receiving, storing, and issuing tools and chemicals used for production
• Monitor equipment use and perform visual inspections for defects, wear, and tear
• Coordinate tool maintenance and support calibration activities under QA guidance
• Manage inventory records and perform goods receipts and inventory adjustments
• Create SAP master data and purchase requests to support procurement functions
• Coordinate with local suppliers regarding material availability and order dates
• Perform shop floor tasks including tool clean-up and daily consumable kitting

Requirements

• Experience in logistics, tool management, or inventory management within a manufacturing environment
• General knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and cutting tools relevant to the aviation industry
• Understanding of shop safety regulations, including OSHA and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention
• Proficiency in data collection programs such as SAP and Microsoft Excel
• High School Diploma or GED
