Tool Preparer

Responsibilities

• Prepare tools according to the current production plan
• Measure and inspect the condition of tools and perform preventive maintenance
• Perform operational tool repairs based on production requirements
• Manufacture parts using machining equipment
• Collaborate on preventive maintenance during line downtime
• Assist with repairs and troubleshooting

Requirements

• Technical secondary school or vocational training (graduates are welcome)
• Basic knowledge of operating machining equipment (lathe, milling, surface grinder, cylindrical grinder)
• Ability to perform locksmithing tasks, including assembling and disassembling tool sets
• Independent and non-conflict approach to communication with machine setters
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts in a short/long week rotation

• Above-standard salary based on skills and experience with regular increases
• Shift allowance up to 2,000 CZK/month
• Transport allowance of 100 CZK/day
• 5 weeks of vacation
• Subsidized on-site meals and meal vouchers for night and weekend shifts
• Overtime pay at 40% (increasing to 60% for high volume)
• Sign-on bonus for shift workers (minimum 20,000 CZK gross)
• Semi-annual bonuses in July and December
• Monthly bonus (average 10% of base salary) after the probationary period
• Pension insurance after the first year
