About the role
Responsibilities
- Learn the design, development, and manufacturing of metal tools, molds, and fixtures
- Master turning and milling processes, primarily using CNC machines
- Learn to program and operate various production systems
- Work with technical drawings to obtain necessary manufacturing information
- Plan work steps, select materials, and monitor production processes
- Assemble individual parts and test them for functionality
- Rotate through different departments, including the training workshop and in-house toolmaking, to learn technologies like wire cutting, sinker EDM, and 5-axis milling
Requirements
- Very good Hauptschulabschluss or Mittlere Reife (secondary school certificate)
- Strong interest in working with modern machinery and technology
- Manual dexterity and good craftsmanship skills
- Quick learner with a careful and responsible way of working
