Tool Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of tools and supporting equipment
• Rebuild broken equipment and replace parts such as gaskets, seals, lines, and fittings in accordance with specifications
• Assemble and disassemble universal tools and perform pressure testing in controlled environments
• Maintain accurate records, including equipment test results, work orders, and material usage
• Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, and break-out vises
• Utilize powered and standard hand tools for grinding, buffing, and general maintenance
• Assist with basic inventory, equipment preparation, and shop housekeeping
• Deliver and pick up equipment from vendors or job sites as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanical aptitude and general knowledge of hand and power tools
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 75 pounds frequently
• Ability to travel for extensive periods and be available on call 24/7
• Ability to read, write, and speak English

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-6 months of related experience or training in the Oil and Gas industry
