Tool & Die Technician

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain blanking, trimming, and form dies in metals manufacturing operations
• Perform stamping press corrections and troubleshooting independently
• Identify upstream processes and tooling issues affecting production
• Refresh, repair, and correct tooling using knowledge of materials and components
• Adjust dies to support production uptime and build dies to operational needs
• Collaborate with Machine Operators to resolve die and press processing issues
• Proactively report die problems to leadership
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and organizational standards

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Journeyman certification (Tool Maker, Die Maker, or Mold Maker)
• 3 years of experience as a Certified Journeyman Tool/Die Maker/Repair
• 3 years of experience with various machining equipment
• Full understanding of form, trim, and process corrections
• Demonstrated competency in all tooling and support tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding experience
