Tool & Die Maker

Responsibilities

• Lead die troubleshooting and repair during overnight production
• Maintain, inspect, and rebuild stamping dies and tooling
• Perform surface grinding, manual machining, CNC work, and EDM operations
• Fit, adjust, and align die components to tight tolerances
• Conduct test runs to validate die performance
• Document all PMs and repair activities
• Partner with production to keep presses running efficiently

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Tool & Die experience
• Experience with stamping dies (progressive or transfer preferred)
• 2+ years of Wire EDM machining experience
• Proficiency in manual machining and CNC operations
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
• Ability to make independent tooling decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SolidWorks or CAD
• CNC programming experience
• Tool & Die apprenticeship completion
• Familiarity with CAM programming or EDM machine controls
