About the role
Responsibilities
- Determine the extent and method of repair to dies through inspection and measurement
- Perform repair operations to dies
- Set up and operate milling machines, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other machine tools
- Design and manufacture tools and fixtures for new products
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years verifiable machinist experience or Technical Diploma
- Ability to perform standard shop computations
- Ability to read schematics, engineering drawings, and technical manuals
- Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of CNC programming and operation
