Tool Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define technical solutions for new injection molding tools based on product and supplier requirements
• Prepare and validate tooling specifications and 2D/3D drawings
• Develop and improve manufacturing methods to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in Tool Design Reviews and approve designs before manufacturing
• Support tool validation, industrialization processes, and maintenance activities
• Monitor tooling projects, including jigs and design changes
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and define preventive maintenance methods for new molds
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, technical standards, and internal specifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
• Proven experience in injection molding, tooling, or manufacturing engineering
• Ability to read and interpret complex 2D and 3D technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in English
• Knowledge of quality standards and production processes
