Tool Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative tooling systems for manufacturing processes to meet production goals and product specifications
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to identify requirements and resolve design challenges
• Propose and implement solutions to improve tooling performance, reliability, and manufacturability
• Manage the tool change control process to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
• Support production teams by troubleshooting tooling issues and providing hands-on assistance during product launches
• Develop and maintain detailed CAD drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and critical design documentation
• Ensure tooling designs are cost-effective, scalable, and meet current and future production needs
• Maintain compliance with 5S standards and adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality policies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 1-3 years of relatable experience in tooling design or manufacturing engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed technical drawings and documentation
