Tool Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative tools, fixtures, and manufacturing process documents for electronic and mechanical assembly processes
• Manage the entire tool design lifecycle from concept to completion, including configuration control and purchasing
• Oversee tool build flow and maintain detailed documentation
• Create and release manufacturing process documents (MPDs) to ensure efficient, high-quality production

Requirements

• 1+ years of related experience in tool or manufacturing engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field
• Experience with CATIA and Creo
• Experience with EPDM and SAP
• Familiarity with programming languages for automating tasks and creating scripts
