Tool and Die Maker

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of stamping dies and support equipment
• Read and interpret technical prints and use precision measuring tools
• Machine details using manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, drill presses, and saws
• Apply basic knowledge of 2 and 3-axis CNC mills
• Perform welding (TIG, MIG, ARC) and basic heat-treating processes
• Troubleshoot and repair stamping during production breakdowns
• Train apprentices through the company's four-year program
• Operate overhead industrial cranes and forklifts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in tool and die making with a strong understanding of stamping dies
• Proficiency with manual machining tools and basic CNC operations
• Welding skills (TIG, MIG, ARC)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to provide your own tools
• Crane and forklift certification (or ability to obtain them)
• Ability to work the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 11:00pm-7:00am)
