TM Analyst - BUK

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Transaction Monitoring initiatives by reviewing, investigating, and reporting suspicious activity through AML expertise.
• Execute monitoring checks on customers and transactions to identify potential risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage and resolve alerts arising from transaction monitoring tests and investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and integrate monitoring processes across the bank.
• Identify areas for process improvement and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and implement procedures and controls to mitigate risk and maintain operational excellence.
• Support SAR (Suspicious Activity Report) investigations and reporting in adherence to compliance standards.

Requirements

• In-depth technical knowledge and experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Transaction Monitoring.
• Strong understanding of KYC (Know Your Customer), CDD (Customer Due Diligence), and EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence).
• Experience performing Sanctions, negative media, and PEP (Politically Exposed Person) checks.
• Ability to make evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with both individual and business client risk types.
• Ability to interact effectively with customer support teams regarding transaction queries.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required by business needs.
