Title Clerk

Responsibilities

• Process and submit vehicle titles and registration paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Coordinate with the corporate office to complete out-of-state deal titling
• Ensure compliance with all state and regulatory requirements for title processing
• Track and resolve title discrepancies, missing documentation, or delays
• Prepare and complete daily bank deposits and perform weekly cash deposits
• Assist with accounts payable (AP) reconciliation and basic accounting support
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all transactions and documents
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external agencies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in title processing, dealership administration, or accounting support preferred
• Familiarity with Indiana title procedures and multi-state titling is a plus
• Basic understanding of accounting principles including AP, reconciliation, and deposits
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle sensitive financial and customer information with confidentiality
