Title and Registration Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end title and registration process across retail and acquisition channels
• Review incoming titles for accuracy, lien releases, and jurisdictional compliance
• Prepare and submit title applications to state DMVs or third-party agencies
• Coordinate lien releases and payoff management with lenders
• Manage registration paperwork, temporary permits, and plate fulfillment
• Audit deal jackets to ensure all required documentation is present and executed
• Maintain accurate digital records in the DMS
• Communicate title and registration status to customers and internal teams
• Manage title intake for trade-ins, direct purchases, vendor sales, and auctions

Requirements

• 3–5 years of automotive title and registration experience
• Knowledge of multi-state title processes (specifically CA and WA)
• Experience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or equivalent)
• Experience managing high-volume title intake across multiple acquisition channels
• Familiarity with auction title workflows and floor plan funding timelines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
