Tissue Culture Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize tissue culture media
• Transplant plantlets into different media and transfer to other vessels
• Monitor tissue cultures and troubleshoot potential problems
• Maintain accurate data and records in compliance with regulations and ERP systems
• Clean tissue culture vessels and laboratory equipment
• Participate in R&D meetings and contribute to research discussions
• Write and report technical results, scientific insights, and recommendations
• Track and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments to determine next steps

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Horticulture, Microbiology, Plant Agriculture, Plant Biology, Plant Pathology, or equivalent strong lab-related work experience
• Experience in tissue culture, plant science, or horticultural science
• Ability to execute fine motor movements within a sterile lab environment
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
