About the role
Responsibilities
- Collate and input timesheet, leave, reversal, and reconciliation data accurately
- Validate import spreadsheets and check for errors against submission checklists
- Generate checking extracts and flag operational errors to ensure turnaround times are met
- Post payroll per deadlines once approved by Operations
- Monitor payroll category code usage and ensure compliance with prescribed procedures
- Process CCMA/Labour court orders and severance pay following tax directive protocols
- Manage the collection and digital filing of signed timesheets and leave schedules
- Resolve payroll queries and provide progress updates to stakeholders
- Maintain organized records on the SharePoint portal as per SOP
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of administration experience
- High-level computer literacy and numerical ability
- Ax systems experience and sound knowledge
- Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification
- Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in timesheet management
- Payroll experience in TES and FO industries
- Knowledge of industry-applicable legislation and basic bargaining council rules
