Tier 3 Project Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead Tier 3 capital projects (up to €5M) from initiation and feasibility through to design, execution, C&Q, and handover
• Manage comprehensive project budgets, forecasts, and financial controls to track expenditures against budgeted costs
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking progress and ensuring adherence to timelines
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, maintenance, finance, and operations to align objectives
• Oversee quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies
• Prepare regular project status reports, including KPIs for safety, cost, schedule, and resources for senior management
• Manage third-party contractors, suppliers, and change orders to prevent scope creep

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of capital project engineering or project delivery experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing or process engineering
• Engineering degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial engineering
• Proven experience in project controls, budgeting, forecasting, and financial management for medium-scale capital projects
• Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, and building/construction regulations and standards
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a matrix organization and manage diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in project scheduling and risk mitigation techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional project management designation (e.g., PMP, Prince2, CAPM, PgMP, or PMQ)
• Experience using project management and financial tools such as PowerBi or SHINE
