About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct Tier 1 IT support to end users via multiple methods including phone and self-service
- Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve trouble tickets or escalate to appropriate support entities
- Perform password resets across various enclaves and provide desktop software installation assistance
- Remotely access end-user desktops to provide technical guidance and troubleshooting
- Document detailed diagnostic summaries and comprehensive ticket information for higher-tier support
- Communicate ticket status to customers and serve as the primary support administrator through resolution
- Assist in preventing issue recurrence by providing guidance to users with varying computing skills
Requirements
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- 0-4 years of experience in help desk or customer service roles
- Ability to work a flexible 24/7 schedule onsite in Huntsville, AL
- Strong communication skills and an adaptable mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Relevant technical certifications
