About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with customers and donors in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner
- Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit, adhering to store policies for refunds and voids
- Sort, pack, hang, price, and store incoming donations to maintain inventory levels
- Maintain store appearance by tidying shelves, cleaning common areas, and assisting with window and merchandise displays
- Monitor store security and assist with stock rotation and inventory control
- Contribute to a safe environment by following health and safety regulations, including clearing obstacles and managing spills
Requirements
- Completion of some high school coursework
- Proven experience with cash handling and operating cash registers
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting/moving up to 30 lbs
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Experience in customer service or goods processing is preferred
