About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous customer service to shoppers and donors
- Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit systems
- Sort, price, and organize incoming donations to maintain inventory quality
- Assist with store layout, including window displays and merchandise arrangement
- Maintain store cleanliness and safety, including sweeping, dusting, and clearing exits
- Unload donations and move stock to appropriate warehouse or sales floor locations
- Monitor store activity to ensure security and loss prevention
Requirements
- Completion of Secondary School
- Minimum of 3 months of experience in warehouse processing or goods distribution
- Proven experience with cash handling
- Basic math skills for calculating discounts and percentages
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 30 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using cash registers and debit/credit card processing machines
- Ability to work a flexible, casual schedule based on business needs
