About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and process transactions accurately via cash, debit, and credit
  • Receive, sort, and price incoming donations based on store policies
  • Maintain store appearance by placing products on racks, organizing displays, and rotating inventory
  • Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, dusting, and maintaining donation areas
  • Assist with store safety tasks such as clearing fire exits and managing spills
  • Work alongside volunteers and provide direction as needed by the Supervisor

Requirements

  • Grade 12 education
  • Up to 3 months of experience in retail or customer service
  • Proficiency with cash register operations
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift items weighing up to 15kg
  • Valid Police Check, First Aid certificate, and WHMIS certification
  • Ability to work a flexible, casual, on-call schedule
