About the role
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers and donors in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash and debit sales
- Sort, pack, price, and store donated goods according to quality standards
- Maintain store appearance by restocking shelves, cleaning, and organizing displays
- Monitor store activity to ensure security and safety of merchandise
- Assist with inventory control, including loading/unloading and stock rotation
- Contribute to a safe environment by managing spills and keeping exits clear
Requirements
- Completion of Secondary School (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Minimum of 3 months of related retail or customer service experience
- Proven experience with cash handling
- Ability to stand for long periods with frequent twisting, bending, and reaching
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
