Thought Leader Liaison, US Neurology, Southwest

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain KOL Engagement Plans and execute National and Regional Congress Engagement Plans.
• Support commercial KOL influence mapping and monitor insights regarding treatment patterns to inform strategy.
• Act as a liaison between KOLs and internal cross-functional teams including Marketing, Medical, and Diagnostics.
• Identify, recruit, and train physician speakers for national and regional faculty and speaker bureaus.
• Ensure compliant execution of speaker programs and monitor performance at live programs.
• Provide field-based training and input for account plans and regional field teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide customer insights for brand strategy, messaging, and program execution.

Requirements

• 7+ years of work experience in academia, medical, or bio/pharma environments.
• Experience in product marketing, field sales, clinical roles, or thought leader engagement.
• Working knowledge of Thought Leader engagement practices.
• Clinical, technical, and scientific aptitude in complex disease states.
• Proven ability to manage a large geographical territory.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time, including significant overnight and weekend travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or a graduate degree (MSc, MSN, MBA).
• Prior experience and/or established relationships within the Neurology therapeutic area.
• Strong background in bio/pharma Marketing or thought leader engagement.
• Highly collaborative with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under short timelines.
