Third Shift Operator

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting to resolve technical system anomalies for mission-critical systems.
• Maintain the operational environment by identifying anomalies and restoring operations or escalating to senior engineers.
• Assist with installing upgrades and monitoring system and network performance.
• Follow established operational policies and procedures to troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues.
• Work closely with engineers, technologists, subcontractors, and customers to ensure 24x7 system availability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with 0 years of experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance (TS/SCI with Poly) required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Proficiency with Linux commands.

Preferred Qualifications

• Security+ certification.
• Experience working within the Intelligence Community (IC).
• Familiarity with technical documentation.
• Strong customer support skills and ability to work collocated with customers in an operations center.
• Proven ability to work as a team player with detailed problem tracking for system reports.
