About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Second Cook in food production
  • Help prepare side dishes and salad bar items
  • Prepare raw vegetables and fruits
  • Assist with breakfast service
  • Help prepare sandwiches and take-out meals
  • Ensure menu items meet quality standards

Requirements

  • Diploma in hospitality, food service, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of cooking experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in workforce accommodation camps or remote settings
  • Previous experience in isolated environments (natural resources or construction sectors)
  • MAPAQ certification (food handler or manager)
