About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist the Second Cook in food production
- Help prepare side dishes and salad bar items
- Prepare raw vegetables and fruits
- Assist with breakfast service
- Help prepare sandwiches and take-out meals
- Ensure menu items meet quality standards
Requirements
- Diploma in hospitality, food service, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of cooking experience
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in workforce accommodation camps or remote settings
- Previous experience in isolated environments (natural resources or construction sectors)
- MAPAQ certification (food handler or manager)
