Thin Films Process Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage semiconductor equipment and perform technical evaluations to monitor and improve wafer fabrication processes
• Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and enhance workstations
• Monitor process indicators, such as Statistical Process Control charts and dashboards, to identify and address abnormal conditions
• Collect, review, and document production data using computer-based systems to support yield and quality
• Conduct technical experiments and process tests to identify yield and process trends
• Participate in shift pass-downs and cross-functional communication to ensure production continuity
• Adhere to all safety protocols and complete required safety training

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Availability to work 12-hour night shifts (including 3-day/4-day or 4-day/3-day rotations)
• Ability to wear cleanroom garments and required PPE, such as chemical aprons and face shields

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certification, or military training in science, engineering, or manufacturing
• Experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or cleanroom environments
• Experience with process monitoring, data interpretation, or Statistical Process Control concepts
