Thermally Fused Laminate Operator Trainee

Responsibilities

• Learn safe and efficient operation of lamination manufacturing equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machinery and workspaces
• Utilize computer software related to the laminating line operation
• Identify conditions leading to substandard quality or downtime and initiate corrective action
• Assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a small team environment
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a board laminating or laminate flooring production plant
