Thermal Test Stand Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate thermal and vacuum test chambers to support the testing of high-complexity rocket components
• Prepare test setups and subsystems, including fluid lines, sensors, actuators, valves, and control panels
• Perform professional installation, troubleshooting, and recurring maintenance of test setups
• Execute and document all technical tasks with high precision and diligence
• Support ongoing test operations by managing pressurized and cryogenic systems
• Provide occasional short-term support at launch sites in Norway and Sweden

Requirements

• Vocational training in mechanics, mechatronics, or a related technical field
• Ability to read and interpret circuit and fluid diagrams
• Proficiency in both German and English (B2 level)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail under pressure
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the high-tech industry
• Practical experience with high-pressure installations (up to 800 bar), ideally using Swagelok
• Knowledge of ATEX requirements and handling compressed gases
• Experience working with liquid nitrogen
• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD
