Thermal System Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for high-profile orders and high-end service support, including installations, startups, commissioning, and testing for Precision Cooling Products.
• Support start-up and commissioning activities, ensuring sufficient manpower and monitoring projects for timely completion.
• Render on-site and telephone technical assistance to customers and field associates.
• Communicate equipment issues to Technical Support and Engineering teams.
• Provide on-the-job training (OJT) to Customer Engineers (CEs) regarding various types of equipment.
• Implement Field Change Notices (FCN) and adhere to all safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
• Manage administrative tasks including time cards, expense reports, and providing Time and Material quotes.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through effective communication and striving for "first time fix" resolutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry/commercial experience and leadership experience, OR minimum of 3 years of Liebert product experience.
• High School Diploma or accredited GED.
• 1-2 year HVAC Diploma or Technical School Degree.
• EPA 608 refrigerant license (Level 2 or Universal).
• Proficiency with electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints.
• Valid driver's license and a valid U.S. passport.
• Ability to travel and work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
