Thermal Simulation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform CFD and thermal simulations using STAR-CCM+ to model thermal responses and safety performance.
• Build, parameterize, and validate numerical models.
• Analyze heat transfer phenomena, including convection, radiation, and associated fluid flows.
• Define calculation hypotheses and simulation plans.
• Interpret results to propose optimization strategies for automotive modules.
• Write technical reports and present findings to project teams.
• Collaborate with design, testing, and validation teams.
• Contribute to the capitalization of simulation methods and best practices.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) specializing in fluid mechanics, thermal, energetic engineering, or scientific computing.
• Proven experience in thermal simulation or CFD activities.
• Proficiency in using STAR-CCM+ software.
• Strong knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and cooling challenges.
• Technical English proficiency.
• Experience in the automotive industry is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with post-processing or automation tools (Java, Python, or STAR-CCM+ scripting) is appreciated.
