Thermal Engineer

Responsibilities

• Select thermal equipment and components that satisfy new product development (NPD) and project requirements
• Create conceptual and detailed 3D models of HVAC system components and assemblies
• Perform thermal system calculations, CFD analysis, and energy code compliance reporting
• Provide Thermal Schematic Design (SD), Detail Design (DD), and Construction Drawing (CD) packages
• Create, maintain, and review accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design optimal solutions and provide production support during factory integration
• Support the Pre-Sales Team with solution development, quotations, and customer presentations
• Work with Procurement and material vendors on component sourcing and selection

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar engineering position
• Proficiency in 3D modeling, with a preference for Revit and AutoCAD
• Ability to read, interpret, and produce HVAC construction drawings and equipment specifications
• Experience with thermal system calculations and CFD analysis
• Ability to research new designs, technologies, and construction methods for data center equipment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (15–25%)
