About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive primary and secondary sales within the assigned market
- Manage and supervise the distributor network to achieve financial and ethical sales objectives
- Plan monthly and quarterly business activities, including demand generation and fulfillment
- Conduct prescription audits for Abbott brands and competitor products
- Achieve sales targets through science-based discussions with doctors and chemists
- Organize Continuous Medical Education (CME) camps and workshops as per division strategy
- Ensure strict adherence to the Abbott Code of Business Conduct and pharmacovigilance protocols
- Maintain 100% coverage of doctors and manage retailer-level inventory
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in pharmaceutical sales
- Prior or current experience in the same therapy area
- Fluent and confident communication skills
- Ability to travel 100% of the time as required by the role
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a Multinational Corporation (MNC)
- Background in top-tier Indian pharmaceutical companies
